About
Concrete precast specialist
Nook Plunge builds precast concrete plunge pools with a fully tiled internal finish. It is a brand of Nook pools group pty Ltd, the same group behind Nook Pools.
What we do
One product, built properly
Most pool companies will sell you whatever shape you ask for. We do one thing: precast concrete plunge pools, in six sizes, with a tiled internal finish on every one of them. Narrowing the range is what lets us cast the shells off site, control the finish, and deliver a pool that is complete when it arrives.
The result is a concrete pool without the months of on-site construction that a poured-in-place pool needs, and without the moulded plastic finish of a fibreglass shell.

How a project runs
Who does what
A pool install touches your property, your services and usually your council. Three parties are involved and it is worth knowing who is responsible for what before you start. Your own contract with your installer is what governs their scope.
What we do
- Build the precast shell and apply your chosen internal finish
- Pre-plumb the pool before it leaves the factory
- Coordinate delivery timing with you and your installer
- Refer you to local approved and licensed installers to quote your install
- Stand behind the 15 year finishes guarantee and the 5 year guarantee
What your installer does
- Attend and assess your site, then quote the install
- Excavate and prepare the footings and subbase
- Arrange cranage, then lift, place, level and backfill
- Run the pipework and fit off the filtration and pump system
- Commission the pool and hand it over
What you arrange
- Building approval, either a CDC through a private certifier or a council DA
- A geotechnical report, which every site needs
- Any crane permit your council requires
- Fencing to your state's pool barrier requirements
- Landscaping, decking and paving after handover
Australian made
Every shell is manufactured in Australia, in a controlled factory environment rather than in a backyard, and built in accordance with the Australian Standard.
MPa concrete
High strength steel-reinforced precast concrete, with a thin load-bearing waterproofing isolation membrane behind the finish.
Year guarantee
On the tiling and the stone coping, backed by market leading adhesive and grout products. Five years on everything else.
Hour install
Because the shell arrives finished, the pool is typically swim-ready within 72 hours of work starting on site, including excavation.
Accreditations and memberships
